Responsibilities

This position provides safe and effective drug therapy that cures or arrests disease, eliminates symptoms, or prevents disease. This is accomplished through identifying, resolving, and preventing drug related problems.

Qualifications

This position requires a Pharm D or B.S. in Pharmacy with relevant practice experience; one year related work experience is preferred; a working knowledge of all aspects of pharmaceutical care; the ability to prepare a patient work-up and retrieve relevant patient and lab data; excellent pharmacokinetic skills; the ability to operate a computer; excellent communication skills; extensive knowledge of drug therapy, monitoring, dosing, and disease treatment; the ability to supervise others; the ability to attend to detail; a working knowledge of Federal and State pharmacy laws; the ability to review and assess medical literature; excellent interpersonal skills; and strong organizational skills.

This position requires a Washington State Board of Pharmacists license. 15 hours of Board of Pharmacy approved continuing education credits per year is also required.
BCPS and DSM certification is preferred. Completion of a Pharmacy Residence Program is preferred.

Pay Range

$65.50 - $90.24 /hour
