Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is looking for a Pharmacist for our client in Overland Park, KS! This role is onsite / in person.
Type: 3+ month contract, with potential for extension
Pay: $70 to $73/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm
Location: Onsite in Overland Park, KS
Responsibilities of the Pharmacist:
· As a Fulfillment Pharmacist, you'll primarily be responsible for performing the final quality check on our members' prescription orders, assisting in all areas of Pharmacy Fulfillment, and acting as a leader for the entire Fulfillment Team.
· Perform final verification of dispensed prescriptions prior to orders being packed and shipped
· Oversees the activities of pharmacy technicians, clerks, and other personnel
· Organizes workload, sets priorities, completes assignments in a timely manner
· Utilizes resources appropriately while complying with department program standards
· Performs all duties and functions in compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
· Assist Pharmacy Manager and/or Pharmacist-in-Charge in various projects as needed
· Conforms with and supports department quality assurance and improvement guidelines
· Ability to flex into all operational areas pharmacy, including inventory, picking, and packing
Qualifications for the Pharmacist:
• BS in Pharmacy and/or PharmD
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the State of Kansas
• 1+ years of experience working as a licensed Pharmacist
• Ability to demonstrate creating a culture of collaboration, recognition, inclusiveness and diversity
• Ability to navigate MS Office and a Windows based environment and the ability to create, edit, save, and send documents utilizing Microsoft Word
• Ability to navigate Outlook and conduct Internet searches
• Able to work the designated shift and flexible hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong teamwork and cooperation skills
• Previous experience working in a mail order setting
